Parent Community: Parent Mat Pilates Classes


Join the Parent Community Yoga classes at the Sri KDU Subang Jaya dance studio.

Classes run at the following times:

Fridays, 9:00–10:00am

Booking must take place 48 hours before the session. Please note that the classes will only run if 5 or more people book. In the instance that a class is cancelled, participants will be informed 24 hours before the class and their credit will carry to the following week’s class


Please note that participating in physical activity classes involves a level of physical exertion. It's important to consult with a medical professional before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions or concerns. By joining these classes, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own health and safety during the activities. Our instructors will provide guidance and modify exercises where necessary, but it's essential to listen to your body and only engage in activities that are within your comfort and ability levels. If you experience any discomfort, pain, or unusual symptoms during the classes, please stop immediately and seek medical attention if needed. Your well-being is our priority, and we encourage you to make informed decisions based on your individual health circumstances.

Timings and Equipment

Please bring your own yoga mat to the session. Only a limited number will be available to lend from the school.

Please arrive at the academy classes no later than 10 minutes before the session is due to start. Participants should be dressed in appropriate apparel/footwear for their sport.

About the classes

The Parent Community: Adult Mat Pilates Classes. Embark on a journey of balance, flexibility, and mindfulness as we invite all members of the school community, regardless of experience, to join us on the mat.

Led by accomplished external Pilates coaches, our Adult Mat Pilates Classes are designed to accommodate participants of all abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned Pilates expert or stepping onto the mat for the very first time, our classes offer a non-judgmental and inclusive space for you to explore the transformative power of Pilates.

Strengthen Core Muscles: Pilates is renowned for its core-strengthening benefits. By participating in this class, you will work on your core muscles, improve posture, and increase flexibility, all while your child observes and, in some cases, participates alongside you.

The heart of our community lies in the collaborative spirit that binds us together. Each class is an opportunity to connect with fellow parents, sharing your wellness journey while fostering a sense of camaraderie that extends beyond the mat. As external coaches lead you through each session, you’ll be enveloped in a supportive environment that encourages personal growth and exploration.
